"We first engaged Lisa over ten years ago, when a friend recommended her highly to plan a second floor and basement renovation for our first home. We enjoyed working with her so much that we hired her again when we found our forever house - a diamond in the rough that needed a kitchen and family room addition, a new master suite, all new baths, complete HVAC systems and many other updates. Lisa paid close attention to what we envisioned for the house, and knew intuitively what our aesthetics and our priorities were. Starting with a vague idea as to what we wanted, she delivered a fabulous plan. After the planning phase, Lisa continued to be an active participant in the project. She accompanied us all over town to help choose lighting fixtures, appliances, plumbing and even door and drawer knobs. In each case, her advice regarding quality, price and aesthetics was invaluable, and her warm and mutually respectful relationship with the vendors helped us get the best sales and service. She also works closely with contractors from start to finish, and there again, the mutual respect between architect and contractor is obvious. Both of the contractors we worked with made the same comment - Lisa is one of the few architects whose plans never need correcting because they are so carefully rendered from the start. We cannot imagine doing any major work without engaging Lisa's help. She is a consumate professional and a joy to work with on every level."
